The beginning

We are a family – founded in 1995.

The roles were clear from the beginning: Klaus Lindörfer is a sales professional and passionate about customer service – Peter Steiner has a passion for numbers, CAD as well as prototypes and production. Ute Lindörfer manages all aspects of the office. The company, based in Germany, grew quickly with the first move in 1997 from Walzbachtal to larger premises in Büchig. In 2001, we moved into our newly built premises in Bretten-Gölshausen. L+S continues to grow.

Milestones

1993

Beginnings

Klaus Lindörfer (left) started the engineering office IBK and was a consultant in foam production.

1995

Foundation

Klaus Lindörfer and Peter Steiner (centre) laid foundations of the company in Walzbachtal.

1997

Growth needs space

To meet growing demands, a move to Büchig was on the horizon.

2004

Even more room

Increase in production capacity necessitated the move to new factory buildings in Bretten-Gölshausen.

2005

Birth of InnoMetal

Steel construction specialist Dr Michael Wagner became part of the company and expanded the LS-Portfolio.

2005

Quality and Environment Management

Certification DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001 set quality standards for lasting company management.

2018

Teamwork and future plans

Sven Lindörfer and Peter Steiner officially took over as managing directors.

2019

Trust and security

LS became TISAX certified (Trusted Information Security Assessment). Important for information security and data protection.

2020

More sustainability

We become even more environmentally friendly: Paper free with digital storage of documents and a new recycling plant.

2023

No rest

Dr Michael Wagner leaves InnoMetall as director and shareholder. He is still an advisor for strategic input.

2023

Handing over the baton

Linda Steiner, Peter’s daughter, becomes procurator at InnoMetall, ensuring continuity with fresh impulse.

2025 Happy Birthday

We celebrate our 30th year in business.
